TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That should round things out once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
